So here's one of the more interesting hands I played in the last few weeks.  Villain is 19/14 with a 5.0% 3bet over 15K hands.  Those stats seem somewhat normal, but lately he seems to be 3betting and squeezing a lot more... maybe a new coach or something.  This hand highlights the importance of position (even when you are on the wrong side) and breaking some of the "that can't possibly be a bluff" myths.

No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO ($133.24)
Button ($134.76)  13/11/4.2
Hero (SB) ($130.56)
BB ($100)
UTG ($47.50)  12/5/4.2
UTG+1 ($187.57)
MP1 ($57.46)
MP2 ($136.33)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♠, Q♠
UTG calls $1, 4 folds, Button bets $4, Hero calls $3.50, BB raises $13, 2 folds, Hero calls $10
[seems standard so far]

Flop: ($33) 5♣, K♥, 10♠ (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $22, Hero calls $22
[seems standard so far]

Turn: ($77) 7♠ (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $38.50, Hero calls $38.50
[so here I'm thinking, "unless he has a set or something, why wouldn't he just shove?"  If he had a "T," he may have even taken a pot control line on the turn.  Why would anyone with a good made hand give a cheap card with only $25 left (even if he has the nuts)?  I would have just shoved, except he may call with his 4-8 outer...  and I only have A hi.]

River: ($154) 5♥ (2 players)
Hero bets $25.73,
[Surely, he can't possibly have any kind of hand.  And he can't expect a nit like me to donk bluff on the river for 1/6th of the pot.]
1 fold

Total pot: $154

Results:
Hero had A♠, Q♠ (one pair, fives).
Outcome: Hero won $176.23
