Happy Father's Day...
... to me.  It's been a pretty good weekend so far:

* My gout is like 90% better - I've been eating a little better (later post), not drinking (as much), and getting plenty of fluids.  I still have some stiffness, swelling and soreness, but the foot is feeling much better.

*I had my best week at the trading consulting business so far.  It's still a work in progress, but I'll need something bigger than  piggy bank to keep the revenues now.

* It appears there's a good chance I could be getting *TWO* poker checks next week!  I can't believe it!  I feel like I just won the (busto) lottery.

* I spent a lot of QT with my little cuties - G and D... playing in the pool, on the driveway, and in the sunroom.  Texas is awesome (later posts).

* And I'll be spending some QT with my other cutie (Mrs Fly) later.  "Oh Nurse Fly, I seem to have some stiffness, swelling and soreness in some of my lower extremities..."

Like Vito Corleone says, "a man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man."  Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there.
