Some interesting developments on the poker cashout front this past week.

After my lengthy "cooperation" post last week... about how we should all band like brothers to overcome our unfortunate situation, there was barely any interest in either giving or receiving help.  Doh!

Actually, I did a transfer with a fellow 2+2er and helped him get $500 off of Merge, so I guess that's something.  But seriously, if you are thinking of putting some money online, ask around first and get a transfer.  Put in enough to get your deposit bonus or whatever, but if you were planning to put more on, do the rest in transfers.  There seem to be some regs willing to pay up to 10% (yeah, you, Ringer!)  So this can be win-win for everyone.

Also, some of the Merge skins seem to be better than others at cashouts.  It's somewhat unfortunate that I chose Carbon as my skin, as they seem to have been extremely caught off-guard by the increase in volume.  I haven't heard about my check cashout since the last time I blogged about it.  It is now over 4 weeks and it's still "processing."  Double Doh!  (but on the bright side, I hear it's running closer to 6 weeks).

Other Merge skins, have had much better planning and have even gone a step further and thought about alternate ways of getting cashouts (some within a week) and responding to customers in a more timely fashion.  As you guys know, people (or companies) who are always one step ahead always impress me.
